Yes, I know it’s still September. I care not. I love the holidays. I will read holiday romance books whenever I want to read holiday romance books. As I often have to tell my children, “I’m 38, and I do what I want.” 🤗
No Ordinary Christmas by @bellecalhoune has officially put me in the mood for the holidays!
The first thing I love is that the story takes place in the small town of Mistletoe, Maine (my husband’s family is from Maine and I LOVE it there). Another reason I love this book is that the main character, Lucy, is a librarian, like yours truly.
No Ordinary Christmas is holiday second chance romance at its best, when the town librarian’s old high school flame (and now a famous Hollywood star) returns to Maine to shoot a movie in town. Old memories and feelings of love, and pain, resurface between Dante and Lucy. Throw in some sibling tension, nosy townsfolk, and clean romance, and you’ve got the perfect holiday romance, which would also make for an epic Hallmark movie! This is the first in the Mistletoe, Maine series, of which more titles will be forthcoming.
Well done, Belle. I can’t wait to read the second book in the Mistletoe, Maine series.
